disabilities are not something to stop us from pursuing are goals.

Hi my name is Chris. disabilities are not something to stop us from pursuing are goals. I think having a disability makes us sometimes try harder for what we want.Good example of this is Beethoven he was deaf and he could compose great music. Another guy is Henry Winkler he had his son diagnosed with dysgraphia and he realized he had it and look at what Henry Winkler did he was able to memorize scripts and keep up his acting career. Henry Winkler was never labeled so he was able to come up with coping strategies.
So with these 2 Examples Way don’t people with disabilities go for their dreams?
One reason is the labeled we have been given.
Can we overcome labels?
Labels can be limiting to what we can become who we are. My friend Leonard once said labels are for jars Can we as a group of people with disabilities define who we are what we want to be?
